Arcane Amnesia
Arcane Amnesia
Picture yourself as a budding wizard, itching to dive headfirst into the magical world and master the spells tucked away in the legendary master spellbook. But hold onto your enchanted robe because there is a problem, you have a terrible memory, never remembering the book-learned spells.
Recently you've stumbled upon a wild talent – the knack for snatching spells straight from the minds of your adversaries! It's like snatching candy from a sleeping goblin!
But as you have learned your bad memory is not only for the book-learned spells as you need to be constantly using those newly learned spells, if you don't, poof! They vanish quicker than a prankster's disappearing act.
So buckle up for a rollercoaster ride through a whimsical realm of enchantment, where every spell you nab adds a sprinkle to your spellcasting adventures!
Tutorial:
Start the game and choose 2 cards to start with. After every stage choose a new spell to learn. If that spell is not used when it comes into your hand it will eventually disappear.
This was made for a Gamejam in a couple of days and as such an early prototype. Hope you enjoy our little game as much as we loved building this.

Really fun little game! I love the simple yet enjoyable combat system and the artwork is great too. If you continue to work on the game I would suggest adding sfx and visusal effects to attacks, that being said, great job!
hope the game is developed further :)
Thank you for those words. It means a lot.
The plan is to continue working on it. Taking the week while GameJam voting is ongoing to flesh the idea out more and sort things out properly, the code is a mess at the moment LOL.
